Structural Cognitive Modifiability

Structural Cognitive Modifiability, which will now be known as SGM on this post and blog, used in a Mediational context needs to be thought of as a type of scaffolding erected to help make structural change.
The scaffolding is meant to be temporary and removed when the individual becomes an independent learner.

STRUCTURAL-involves organization and integration of the components that make up our thinking.

COGNITIVE- rekates to the ability to think.Cognition means how we think.

MODIFIABILITY- means having the ability to adapt to alter and to regulate.
