Wednesday January 20: Car-shooling!

The last three days we have been up and down the highway to town. With a half hour there and back, we always find ways to entertain ourselves. Whether in between appointments or on the long drive.

Back in the car to sit and wait while Dad does errands. Time for the sticker books.

Then we look at the Renoir art book. I made a box with the kids full of fun things to pull out whenever we get bored in town. This book has been a big hit.

Of course, a fun mad-libs type of book!

We need to kill two hours while Dad has a meeting. Time for a trip to the library. This is our "big shop". We have a library in our village, and we order in a lot of books. But every once in awhile we need to go and handle the books, smell the pages and be moved by the titles.

...plus, the pond at the library always helps pass the time

They were kind enough to give me a shelving cart as I collected our books to take home. Yes, all those books are coming home with us!
